Yes, I was trying to explain to Gill why John had him test air fluff.
  3. Siphoning Speed Queen Washer

whats strange is i have seen customers once in a while who have taped their drain hose at the top of the stand pipe and wrapped it tight with no air gap at all and then I ask them how there washer has been working all this time with the drain line hose taped up like that and they tell me its worked fine . This is very confusing to me because yes as you say AccAPP I have heard that you can't tape the drain shut tight and that it needs an air gap to properly drain ???
  4. Looking for service repair / Tech sheets for this Whirlpool Cabrio top load washer Mod # WTW7300DW0 any help would be appreciated thanks Darren
  5. Samsung DV40J3000EW/A2 stops mid normal cycle

Has it just blown 1 Fuse or several fuses ? Just wondering if you may have had a bad new fuse or like Applianceman97 had mentioned are they after market fuses that you are using that may be faulty and blowing to soon. something to think about also

  8. Was it an oem pump?
  9. Samsung DV40J3000EW/A2 stops mid normal cycle

What he is saying is that he did run an air fluff cycle and it did not heat. Therefor the relay is not stuck.
  10. Samsung DV40J3000EW/A2 stops mid normal cycle

If you run no heat cycle and it heats, either relay stuck closed or heating element shorted.
  11. Was is the files section already. Here is the link. Check out the video on how to search for files. It may help you in the future.
  12. Looking for service manual or wire schematic or both. Unit is completely dead after self clean. Cooktop works but nothing else. Unfortunately never have seen this model or have worked on it. I'm assuming a fuse is blown by unsure where it's located and can't find it and parts breakdown.
  13. Samsung DV40J3000EW/A2 stops mid normal cycle

    Perhaps I misunderstood Johntech.
  14. Samsung DV40J3000EW/A2 stops mid normal cycle

Johntech above recommended "Could also be a relay sticking on the main control. Run a no heat cycle and make sure it does not heat."
  15. Samsung DV40J3000EW/A2 stops mid normal cycle

I am confused about this statement. It says you ran it on a no heat mode and it did not heat. I don't think that is what you meant to say. Why were you testing it on a no heat cycle?
  16. Samsung DV40J3000EW/A2 stops mid normal cycle

I ran on air fluff manuel setting. The only no heat mode i could come up with. It did not heat.
  17. Samsung DV40J3000EW/A2 stops mid normal cycle

Applianceman97 the heat element came from this site and the others are by ERP, Exact Replacement Parts.
  18. Samsung DV40J3000EW/A2 stops mid normal cycle

I tested the thermister and got 10.4 on 20k ohms setting. All good. High temp has continuity, (3rd) thermostat has no continuity. Blower is well connected to shaft. Lint screen looks clear to me. I can see right through it. I guess I will replace the thermostat, again, and test on a no heat cycle as suggested by Kaveman.
  19. OK, thanx to a friend who knows someone who knew someone, LOL, I got my hands a used control board for $65.00. I installed it and so far so good. Only run about 6 loads through the washer with no issues. I plan to take the old control board apart and see if I can replace the offending relay and then have a spare board. We really like this machine as it uses very little water, which is perfect for our septic system, yet does a nice job of washing. We have some friends with fancy Samsung, LG or whatever machines they paid a fortune for and complain that sometimes all their laundry does not even get entirely wet let alone clean. I do not need that kind of grief and aggravation. Thanx again all for the replies and support. Kudos to all that helped. God bless and MAGA.
  20. That is a great tip! I will do that next time.
  21. A spot of grease holds ball in cup. But still tricky reaching around cabinet.
  22. Yes, that can be tricky without a helper.
  23. Before I took the dryer apart again, I noticed that the idler pulley and the shaft coming off the motor were really dirty. Once I cleaned them off, the squeal stopped. Thanks again for your help, everyone.
  24. Thanks for comments. As a follow up. The evaporator fan was not spinning. The thermostat of for the freezer was near the coils but the air was not moving anywhere. This resulted in the freezer reading 0 but in fact the compartment itself was not (fridge side was roasting as well). Replaced the fan and it all has worked find since. Thank you once again .
  25. Yes, I did insert the ball bearing in the cup. Luckily, I had a helper who was able to hold the piece in the back while I placed the cup with the ball bearing in the front.
