      [Webinar] Appliantology Workshop   11/09/2017

Information is the name of the game in the appliance repair trade today. Appliantology is a powerful information tool for the professional appliance repair technician. But just like with any of the more capable tools in your tool bag, many of the more powerful features are hidden from you unless you "read the manual." Ugh! Who wants to do that? Well, this is one time when you don't have to! In this webinar, Team Samurai will personally walk you through the site and show you many of the useful and powerful features that even long-time users probably never knew existed.

  2. Making much more sense now. Yes, when a new wiring harness comes with a part don’t assume it not there for a reason.
  3. Today
  4. John. It did some with new wires but I didn't use them. I need to replace the wires?
  5. Built January 2014. When the Drain Motor was replaced...did it have a new pump motor wire harness in the kit? Has it been installed?

  7. Hello everyone Washer won't drain. If I unplug it for about 7 hours, plug it back, then try again, it will drain. Then I try another load and it won't drain. Everything I've researched so far said to check hoses and drain pump for obstructions. I did that; couldn't find any obstructions so I ordered a new drain pump from sears. Just installed it. Ran two dry "loads", I could hear, see and feel the pump working. Started a small real load (with water). Won't drain, pump is not working. I've unplugged, waited about 30 minutes. Still won't drain and pump doesn't run. Model WT1101CW 401PNNA37679 I don't remember when I purchased. It was sometimes after 2008 - new. There is a date on the old pump 4.12.13/1. I guess that's a date?

  10. Problem is that the service manual here doesn’t include a schematic or wiring diagram. (WTF!) Do you guys happen to have one. I kinda need it! Thanks
  11. Roper Dryer RED4640YQ0

This one applies to your model:
  12. I am looking for a PARTS LIST list for this furnace. If there is any tech (error code) info that would be great too. I’ve never worked on a furnace before. It doesn’t seem that difficult and I feel very confident in working on it. Thanks for all your help. Ms Anm
  13. Need service manual/Tech Sheet Please.

This tech sheet applies to your model:

  16. when the glow bar is at its peak of glowing try tapping the side of the gas valve at the coils also . If the burner lights it’s possible you may have a stuck gas valve or bad gas valve. Meter check the other components first and make sure their good before coming to the conclusion that the gas valve is bad. Ohm out the flame sensor . You should read about 1-2 ohms . If your reading infinity . Replace the sensor. The flame sensor rarely goes bad. It’s most Likely the coils if the flame sensor checks good and the glow bar has already been changed with a new one and it’s checked for being good. You should be getting 120volts at the glow bar . You also need to make sure there is not a break in the wiring harness wires for the ignition components. There is a way to test the coils with a meter but you need to have the right type of meter for that. Usually a weak set of coils will give off a small scent of gas sometimes. A weak or bad coil will look fractured a sort of cracked look all around the coil. It will also have a swollen look at the gas valve end of the coil. Good luck
  17. I need a tech sheet for this washer
  18. +1 to bad ignitor use a round on like this: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/part-number/WB13K0001/0022/363.html?modelNumber=3627132190&categoryName=Range (gas)&brandName=KENMORE
  19. Replace Ignitor then you'll likely be good to go. turn off gas and power first!
  20. Always I seem to expect more of a problem than it actually is, while not in my comfort zone diagnosing a non working gas oven, family's hoping to be ready for Thanksgiving day. Feeling like they depend on me now. No amp draw from ignitor, wires both wires white shouldn't make any difference right ? no continuity on ignitor (one lead off), the other badly frayed at terminal, replaced the crimp on quick connector, still no amp draw, tested continuity completely out of the circuit, still nothing. However 120 vac at the ignitor. Diagnosing one problem at at time, this sounds correct to me, also how to diagnosis temp thermostat in oven just in case. thks all. Expect the Unexpected
  21. Service matters shows this one to be the correct tech sheet for that model number.
