  1. Hello Washing machine drum stopped spinning even in the spin cycle mode, machine does fill in and empty but does not spin the drum (only initial few seconds) I done some initial checks: Drivebelt is not worn The drum rotates fine Have not inspected bearings but would expect it would make grinding noise and wont rotate well The motor brushes are ok and seem to be in contact with the armature motor Motor does work as it starts the initial spin Weights are not loose Front door does lock and unlock as it should I checked level with spirit level and that in the centre https://www.indesit.co.uk/i/indesit-ecotime-iwdc-6125-washer-dryer-in-white/f062505 Any idea please? is it the control module/pcb? Thank you
  2. We have an Indesit fridge freezer from about the late 0's. We noticed the fridge was not cool, and in fact got warm on top. Turns out the years of weight on the door had bent it just enough to misalign the light switch with the bump it should press against. The bulb ended up melting the plastic cover. After it was replaced, the fridge did not come on at all: no compressor, no light, just a big, white, dead box. What is the likely cause and how do I fix it? I have a multimeter and tools, but have never worked on a fridge before. My suspicion is it is a blown fuse. Where are they located? Any help gratefully received. Thanks in advance, Malcolm
