  1. Hi guys, After 2 years and 1 month, my Maytag dishwasher just died (by the way, is Maytag a good and reliable brand anyway?). Here is the story: 1) After starting the dishwasher, the water comes in. But after that, nothing will happen. No sound, nothing. 2) If I open the door, then close it, and press resume. I can hear a few "click" sounds, each separated by a second or two. But still nothing happens after that. 3) If I press the cancel button, water drains out correctly. 4) If I run the self diagnosis, it shows code such as (in this order): F6, E4, F-, E- 5) Via some google, some people says the code may indicate water intake issue - but it does get water in when I start the machine, so I am not sure if that is the true issue. PS, not always, but a few times, I think I smell a light rubber burn smell. But not always and the smell is light. Most of my DIY friends say maybe the motor is dead (the "click" sounds means it can't start the motor). But before I jump on that, just want to see if there is any other possibility. Thanks!
  2. Hi Everyone, I have a Maytag washer MWHE400WW01 It is the 4000 series are here are the Symptoms: * Cannot get any lights on the control panel (touch pad / LED assy) to come on at all except that the "Control Lock" feature seems to work and light up and chimes * When pressing the power button I get 3 short chimes and that is it - nothing else (except the control lock light) lights up at all - Zilch! * Cannot get it into diagnostic mode(s) at all as nothing happens * I checked the "door switch" (not the door lock switch) and I get continuity across the switch when pressed * When plugging and unplugging the power cord I get clicking from the CCU Any common problems that may cause these symptoms? Thanks in advance Tom
  3. Looking for a manual. This is a supposedly new dryer bought on one of those bidding websites. I'm told when powering on the check filter code keeps beeping, the power button flashes and it won't start. I'm thinking either it's a faulty "new" machine or something was shook loose in shipping. Customer only got a 30 second warranty. Model DLGX3360V steam dryer.
  4. This dishwaher has a light on the display lit, but doesn't wash. If you have a service manual available it would be greatly appreciated.
