  1. Should Appliances be connected to GFI outlets? Having trouble on a dishwasher. Dishwasher runs and completes rinse only cycle. But, when I try to run normal wash an the element tries to come on, it trips a GFI outlet up by the cabinets. I element circuit doesn't show to have a short to ground. So I just suggested they change out the GFI outlet for a normal outlet like they have everywhere else in the kitchen. i thought larger appliances didn't work well with GFIs. Am I missing something?

    Old waffle cone iron repair

Hello! I bought an old waffle cone iron off of the marketplace, was super excited to try it out. Got home plugged it in and noticed only the top portion heated up. Took it apart and found three wires that have burned/corroded off. I can assume where two of the wires go but have no idea where the third one should go. Any help would be appreciated. I've attached photos of the bottom half of the unit with a picture of the wiring (sorry for the crude crayon drawing). The company (Wheatland machine co, Kansas City) no longer appears to be in business. I can't get the photos to load so I added the photos here: https://linksharing.samsungcloud.com/i4pFeMmx6lX4
  3. Found loose connector on the power module for a B22CS80SNS/04 Does anyone have a source for new connectors? In this case it’s just a two wire connector. Would preferred not to rework the old connector but if anyone has any ideas I’d appreciate it.
