  1. Hi I have a MGDX700xw1 gas dryer it isn’t completely drying the clothes. I’ve tried changing the coils on the gas valve WPW10328463. If I put the dryer on high heat setting and watch the gas valve with just the lower panel off the dryer never hits temperature and cycles off. Never gets above 155 and just keeps burning gas. I’m quite confused the gas valve to the dryer is all the way open and the water heater is working fine. Any advice is appreciated.
  2. In the category of perfect timing, our gas dryer will not start on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. It makes no sound at all when the button is pressed. Power at the outlet is fine. The cycle selector dial feels different and it does not make any clicks when turned to different cycles so I suspect that mechanism. However, I would like any advice to eliminate any easier fixes. I may not be able to buy or order a part until Tuesday at this point. There was a heavy load of towels in the dryer when this occurred. I did take the load out and gave the drum a little spin, closed the door and tried to start it, but nothing.
