All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. Set a reminder for yourself for this workshop so you don’t miss it.  And check out past workshops here: https://appliantology.org/announcement/33-webinar-recordings-index-page/

You may not have thought that anything could possibly be missing from Appliantology, but there was one weakness with our search function that is now FIXED.

All content in forum posts is now searchable, including the extra fields that you use for entering the model number, brand, problem description, etc.

This means that Appliantology is now a MUTHALOAD of historical technical discussions and solutions that you can search for by model number. In other words, a comprehensive repair database. In fact, I'm not exaggerating when I say that Appliantology is the most comprehensive model number searchable database in the entire galaxy. Well, solar system, at the very least. Great googely-boogley-- that's HUGE!

So what does this mean for you premium tech members? It means that Appliantology is now THE MUTHALOAD of repair solutions that you can find by model number. In other words, a comprehensive repair database. Great googely-boogley-- that's HUGE!

Try it yourself -- go to either the Appliance Repair Tech forum or the Appliance Service Manual Requests forum and search for model number LGHB2867PFHA. How many results did you get? I get 6. That is six different topics all pertaining to that exact model number.

Now lop off a few characters so your search term looks like this: LGHB2867*

How many results did you get? I got 18.

If you are NOT a tech member at Appliantology, you will NOT see any results because the Appliance Tech Repair Forum is a tech-only forum. But there's an easy fix for that!

Yo, this ain't no cheap vanilla; this here be KILLA MANILLA!
