Wife cleaned refrigerator & asked me where this goes - I don't see it on manuals or part diagrams

Does it hang from a shelf to hold a 2 liter bottle?

That's exactly what it is.

That's why they call me Old & Slow.  it is wine bottle cooler that hangs from a shelf.  Not part of the refrigerator at all.  Thanks, all

May be from a prior refrig someone had before they purchased the one you have now and put it in the new one - I'm pretty sure that is an accessory that does come with some models of refrigerators, (not totally sure if Frigidaire has it in some of theirs or not - I don't see it on the parts list anywhere).

I have a (1997) KitchenAid refrigerator with one of those (slightly different shape).  It's for chilling wine, hanging a bottle beneath whichever shelf has the space.
