Like living a scene out of Groundhog Day, my Kenmore model 110.21302013 washer will actually finish a wash load... but four minutes later, it will start back up again and rewash the same load it had just finished. In addition, if I unplug the washer and plug it back in, it immediately goes into sensing mode, and if the lid is closed will lock the lid as well. (if the lid is oen, the sensing light comes on but it does nothing else)

Running the error diagnostics recall, I get the code F15E0, a code which does not exist in the tech manual tucked discreetly inside the washer housing.A week ago, I came back home about 15 hours after starting my wash before leaving... imagine my surprise when I heard the washer running and saw that it was in the rinse cycle.

Apparently, if once the cycle is complete, if you aren't there within four minutes to open the lid, your clothes go on another wild ride.

Here is a video via YouTube of this washer's antics

Maybe this is the problem?

Sounds like it is in demo mode!

I think you may have given me the solution. I tried the steps given and it doesn't start up when plugged in. I am running a load now to see if this is the true fix.The tech manual says very little on the "Sales Demo Mode" other than "NOT FOR SERVICE USE*" and down at the bottom "*Press and hold the start key for 3 seconds to exit." However the sales demo mode is position #5 while the cancel the tech bulletin gave was position 13.So that is the demo mode, eh?

Thank you for what appears to be the solution.

I believe it is just a small mistake in the terminology being used.

There may be a "Sales Demo" mode but I'm pretty sure the continuous run mode is a "Factory Stress Test" mode.
