Electrolux Icon Ice Maker Service Flash - FDBM Refrigerator Ice Build Up on Finger Evaporator

View File

Brand: Electrolux, Electrolux ICON

Models:
EI23BC55I EW23BC70I E23BC78IPS
 EI23BC56I EI28BS55I EI28BS56I
EW23BC71I E23BC78ISS EW28BS70I
EW28BS71I

Serial: Previous to 4A008xxxxx

Problem: Frost and/or ice is building up on the housing holding the finger evaporator in place. This housing is above the ice mold, and as the frost or ice ball increases in size it can interfere with the movement of the ice mold to the fill position. The frost, ice build-up and/or ice melting is causing water to drip out of the dispenser ice chute into the sump area.
