Watchdog error? Jenn Air Downdraft Range F5 error SVD48600B

Older downdraft. Panel wouldnt light up, but did beep. Changed touchpad and board that attached to it. Control now functions, but as soon as I try to bake, F5 error comes up. I found a site that suggests older JennAirs F5 means

Hardware and watchdog circuits disagree Rebuild clock assembly (also called the ERC)

Considering its a new clock (i assume is the board behind the panel I replaced), then could it be one of the boards in the back? Theres a downdraft board 12001694 and a bake/broil board w10757086. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated as this is getting expensive!!

F5 is indeed the watchdog circuit error, meaning the processor is not getting the signals it "expects" from the oven for the cycle it is operating in...First, I would test your temperature probes to be sure they have the proper resistance, as they are the way the logic board "decides" if things are in order. A bad or loose connection can make the probes resistance value to "appear" to be much higher and, therefore, way out of range.

On the main power relay board: J10 connector goes to the Upper Oven sensor probe (2-pins) and J9 goes to the Lower Oven (2-pins) if the unit is a double oven. Should read @ 1100 ohms at room temp. Check for cracked solder joints on the relay board as well. .R25RelayBoardIllustration0290_001.pdf

Generally, It is best to send the display head and main relay power board off to be refurbished together, so they can be tested together- CCS does them for 180 dollars + shipping and gives a year warranty on the repair. The display/relay board on this Jenn-Air is very similar to the set of boards on tons of Thermadors out there...

Ok very helpful. I'll pull it out and see what I can find. Thanks!
