whirlpool duet washer loud spin. GHW9150PW4

I posted before about this issue with my duet Washer but now my brother's machine has the same issue. After removing the bottom front panel, opening the lint filter them screwing the filter back in and replacing the panel the Washer is very loud and shaking during the spin cycle. Is there anything I could have done in removing the panel and the filter that could have caused this?

Thanks for your help

Machine could be out of level after the repair.

Is the noise a "knock knock knock" type of noise with a rythm or is it a "roaring" type of noise that gets louder as the spin speed increases?

Posted

Thanks for the replies. I think it might be more of a roaring noise. And the machine shakes. It does get louder the faster it spins

What was in the filter, plastic shavings and crumbled metal?

If a roaring noise it may be bad bearings in tub.

There was nothing in the filter

Not positive on the noise. Only heard it once
