Whirlpool dryer GEW9250SU0

Hello,

I was changing drum rollers on a Whirlpool dryer. I put unit back together and now it won't start. The heavy duty light blinks bit selector knob will not change cycles. I checked door switch and it tests good. My concern is that the wires from user interface to main control board may have gotten pulled to tight while taking dryer apart. Looks like a couple of hundred dollar mistake if either main control or user interface is the problem. Anyone have any thoughts??

Thanks

Rick

Pull the unit back apart and insepect every connection. Try disconnecting the user interface and reconnecting it.

Thanks for the reply John. I pulled it apart and check connections. Still wouldn't do anything but flash heavy duty light. I decided to replace the user interface and it worked. Put it all back together and won't power on. Take it apart and pull interface out from front panel and it powers on. Each time I snap interface back into front plastic housing it won't power on. Getting the feeling this thing is possessed. Possible defective interface? No wires are pinched. Can it be the board getting stressed when I snap it in? This dryer is driving me to drink. Thanks for any input.

Make sure all the buttons are lining up properly and not being pressed when snapped together.
