LTC22350SS/00 No temp display

Good morning all, I have an LG top freezer fridge that was not doing anything at all except turning on the light in the fresh food section. Both the condensor and evaporator fans werent running and the compressor was not kicking on. Also, there was no display or led lights on the temperature display in the fresh food section. I was able to bypass the main motherboard by using an insulated wire and the compressor kicked on and started to cool so I replaced the main motherboard.

Now the unit is cooling properly and all fans are running, but still no display on the temp control. When the door switch is triggered it shuts the light off so I dont believe it is an issue with the door switch circuit. Is there a possibility the DC voltage that is supposed to go to the display board is being pulled from someone else? Im kind of lost on this one.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am having the exact same issue on this model.  I replaced the main circuit board, but there is no display on the temp control, so I replaced the temp display board as well, but it still doesn't work.    The refrigerator is cooling too much (about 29 degrees F) and vegetables, lettuces and fruit are freezing.     Any help appreciated.

It would have better to start your own topic.   So you replaced both board and still have no display. The refrigerator is running and over cooling.  If the compressor and both fans are running without being bypassed as in belsonrepair's post. You have a possible wiring issue.  Unplug the refrigerator.  Unplug connectors con 5 and con 6 on main board, Con 101 on display board. Wire pattern is con 5 pins 1 and 2 go to con 101 pins 2 and 1,  con 6 pins 7, 8, 9 to con 101 pins 3, 4, 5, con 6 pin 2 to con 101 pin 6.  The wire color don't change end to end according to the wire diagram. Use resistance setting and ohm out each wire one at time. resistance ideally would be zero ohms for each wire. The ohm each wire to the cabinet, this should be open or infinity.

Vance, thanks for the information on the wires.  I checked the wires, found them all to test OK, so I thought I had a bad control or display board.   When I went to reconnect everything, it was working, so it appears one of the connectors wasn't seated properly or has an intermittent connection.   I'm good to go from here.   Really appreciate your response and advice.
