Silver Care kit on the Samsung washer WF448AAP/XAA

Is it a worthwhile cost to replace the Silver Care kit on the Samsung washer WF448AAP/XAA ? I have had this washer for about 7 years and we have definitely exceeded the 1000 loads/trips the silver care kit was good for. The part is about $125.
