Something is wrong.Kenmore freestanding range with a hinge problem.Oven door won't stay open.Slams shut.

Replaced right and left hinge part number 316456308 twice now.One set directly from Frigidaire.I thought maybe a bad batch.I open door all the way down and it springs back up.

Slam shuts if you let it.Super high tension springs. So I changed the receivers part number

316441300.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm, well you could give  316456307 a try... it is hard to tell from the picture if the spring is less beefy, but you could try comparing the parts side by side if you have a part store nearby that will let you inspect them.

I don't see anything adjustable regarding the spring tension.

Did this just start happening all of the sudden or did you just get this range and this is the problem you're having?

Are all other parts of the door intact, (door glass not broken out/missing), if any of the glass parts are broken out the door will be lighter and not counterbalance against the pull of the springs.
