Samsung SKR2D13NH/XAA Kimchi fridge no longer powers on

I've been using this kimchi refrigerator for almost 10 years, but it stopped working a few days ago and does not power on. I was about to get rid of it, but wanted to see what was wrong with it first. I gained access to the control board and noticed one of the chips were broken. I've attached a picture of the control board with the broken chip circled in blue. I would like to know if this kimchi refrigerator will work again by replacing the damaged control board.20200706-193622.jpg

Looks like part of the low voltage power driver ic. Yes very possible it will work with new board. The issue will be finding board for the unit. Samsung doesn't supply parts past 5 or 6 years.

Vance, thank you..I appreciate your response. If I cant find the replacement board, I'll call the city for bulky item pickup.

The original part number for the control board is DK41-00071A. It has been replaced with part number DK41-00063F. After reviewing both control boards, I noticed that I will not be able to plug in one of the cables with this new board. In the attached screenshot, the picture on top is the new board with the missing parts circled in red while the picture on the bottom is the original board showing the difference circled in blue.20200720-011136.jpg

The cable that plugs into the white colored port has "VALVE" written on the board:

@WangJSoo Very easy with Samsung to get the wrong part number when looking up parts if you don't have/know the correct revision code.

Best to get the part# off the actual old board then lookup from that part number.

EDITED TO ADD:  Looks like you have already done that, (the number I see on your original board along with the date is DK41-00071A)

Do you see any other numbers on the board, (on stickers that may be similar to that format - NOT the one on top of the low voltage transformer DK26-0009C)
