oven heats to temp, and control shows correct but stops heating.
heard an odd whirring noise a week ago, and though I saw small flame in oven.  Threw breaker.  Some smoke but no electric smell - couldn't determine what it was.  Thought scrap parchment paper perhaps.
Started again and Oven worked normal til yesterday used daily.
have reset and still doing it.  Suggestions oh wise ones?

Loose connections on element or control module. If that all looks good need some voltage measurements at terminal block and bake element.

Thanks! Element looks good.  Will get help pulling out the stove and get some readings and find the control module.

was broiling tomatoes for several hours last use - wonder if I hit the sensor swapping pans.  Cleaned it but didn’t help.

Im  comfortable part swapping with the power off, chickening out using the meter.

I attempted diagnostics - no error codes on the relays, but couldn’t get it into auto test

really appreciate your help - think it would be worth trying a new sensor or element?

oven behavior changed a bit - now it’s real slow to warm up.  Now wondering if it’s the bottom element and where the heck that is.

Need to know if you have correct voltage to oven at the main terminal block at the back and to the bake element. if your uncomfortable with measuring live voltage it will leave us just guess from ohm readings.

Thank you again!!  Such a dork I feel - found the hidden bake element and there is defiant damage, big bubble burn, and in the corner I thought I saw flame . Will start with getting that that replace on order!  Was so focused on the broiler.

when searching for how to find the element, found another post that mentioned the noise and flame when bake element went out!  Love this site.

Will see if I can read the main block now when off - feeling hopeful!

Skipped ahead to replacing element.  Notice that the pan under the element is cracked...like the bottom of the stove.

Looking at the parts it looks like what they call “bake pan”

thinking that should also be replaced?
