Had a full refrigerator at coldest setting of 9 but temperature was between 40 and 50 degrees F. Emptied the frig and temperature appears to return to normal -- 38 degrees F at setting of 7. Slowly replacing food and hoping !! Is it possible the fridge was too full?  It's and older model, maybe 10 or more years old.

Would greatly appreciate advice on this.

Thanks

Model number would make giving advise better. If the refrigerator was packed in a way to block airfow it will effect temps.
