My wife’s best friend just sent me a text that her washer just stopped.  I went by and opened it up:

1. checked the pump for any obstructions. All clear

2. checked motor for a reset button (none)

3. Got juice to the unit.

4. not sure where to go from here

please advise with any input so I can begin to fix this thing. Thanks in advance

Ok so I’ve been trying to fix this beast for a couple of weeks.  I finally got back to it.  I checked the small 1.0 amp fuse just inside of the left upright edge of the face.  I tried to start the unit.  It filled up with water.  Then stopped.  after 10 min / no progress.   Would the unit fill up with water if the lid switch is broken?  The reason I ask is I got one but haven’t torn the thing apart to replace that.  Please advise.  Thank you in advance for the input

The lid switch is what i would look at first.

This is where the serial number of the washer is important.

If the serial number starts with A0 to A3 it takes this part:

If the serial number begins with 15 it takes this part:

The lid switch was the problem.  Ordered it. Got it.  Put it in and I’m the hero for the day. Thank you everybody for all your help in getting this fixed
