applianceman1 Posted August 19, 2017 I ran into same problem. On a LG DLE0332W. First went over, dryer thumping......thought rollers... Ordered parts...took dryer apart to change out rollers and I see the rollers look new and not the problem. I noticed that the drum had a split on the weld... and a crack. I'm not sure how old this dryer is but I'm wondering if this would be a manufacturer defect on the welded joint and under warranty. Would LG send a new drum. How would I go about finding out... Any LG TECH. That could help. Thanks Link to comment
Team Samurai Samurai Appliance Repair Man Posted August 19, 2017 LG will send a whole new drum BUT the drum may get bent out of round during shipping. All it takes is a little bit and it'll make lots of noise, back at square 1. This can be a nightmare. Link to comment
applianceman1 Posted August 20, 2017 I'll let the customer know. I think there about $170. Thanks Link to comment
