  1. I am reaching out because my Kenmore gas dryer is not heating. I actually had an issue where I had to replace the motor because it would no longer start. The motor now works great, but the dryer stopped heating. Before that, I do know for sure that it was heating. I've checked everything that I can find online and in YouTube videos, including checking for continuity of the timer, both thermostats, thermal fuse, coils, flame sensor, and ignitor. Everything checked out there. I did do a voltage test on the red and blue wires that feed into the gas assembly, and the voltage was very low, nowhere near enough to power anything. I'm far from an expert and have only checked what YouTube videos have suggested so any help is appreciated! I would love to keep this dryer going and not create more waste.
  2. HI, I have a GE electric dryer, model number DCVH 640 EJ0WW which isn't heating on Timed Dry or Auto Dry cycles. The heating element, thermostats, thermistors, connections, and wiring all test good. In test modes t07 and t08 the dryer Does Produce Heat and displays inlet / outlet thermistor temps. There are no Error Codes being displayed...E00, but when I try to operate the dryer in Timed or Auto Dry, it won't get hot. Any help you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  3. Okay I replaced the healing element and the fuse that comes on that panel and I also replaced he thermostir after doing that it worked great for like 3 weeks but the dryer now will tumble and it will run for about 10-15 minutes with no heat and it will have the led lights chasing each other and tumble but no heat then it stops what else could it be please
  4. Yep. On my birthday the dryer quits heating. But I hang my head to say it has been having an ongoing issue I did not address. A while ago the dryer stopped stopping at the end of a cycle. The timer would advance to a point, and the dryer would stop heating, but did not stop tumbling. I think I read there is something that happens...maybe with the timer current?... near the end of the cycle. But I put off diagnosing and fixing it by just going down and stopping the dryer when I knew the cycle was up. Grasshopper should be flogged for laziness. Then yesterday is stopped heating. And now that there are 2 problems I am having trouble diagnosing. Is there something that would cause both of these failures? Or do I need to diagnose the issues separately? Grateful for any help (again). Helene
  5. I have a Maytag Gemini model MER6770AAB double oven. Neither the broil (hi or low) nor toast nor clean function of the upper element in the upper oven will work. The lower element in the upper oven works properly through all temperature ranges and functions except for clean function. In the lower oven, both elements work properly. I had replaced the element before checking for continuity and when the new one did not work, I then checked for continuity in both, and both read good. A few years ago I replaced the temperature sensor and the control circuit board and the broil element. Only other symptoms was a random F9-2 (door lock upper) when oven was not on. Also top right front heat indicator light not working. Before I order another new control board is there something I have overlooked? Thanks
  6. Kitchenaid double oven kEBC208KSS02 top oven not heating. All the controls and indications look correct. Convection fan is on. Lights are on. I replaced the thermal fuse on the back of top oven....no help. It will not heat in bake or broil. Bottom oven works perfectly. Please help.
  7. May I have a service manual for this unit WMH1163XVS-0. Everything works according to client but it does not heat. Thank you again for everything. Patricio
