Whirlpool Refrigerator Model #WRS325FDAM02 Has A Stuck Water Filter
pharbach posted a topic in DIY Appliance Repair Help
My Whirlpool side by side fridge model number WRS325FDAM02 has a stuck water filter. After opening the access door, the filter should pop out a bit, i guess, in order to pull it out for replacement. But it doesn't. This model has no button to push, but an access door at the bottom left of the fridge. The filter should, according to Whirlpool, just pop out when the door is opened right-to-left. Tried pliers on the end of the filter, but the end of the filter is rounded and gripping it from the end is impossible. Removed lower grating to see if that help with access, but it doesn't. Water filter hasn't been changed in 5 years! LOL... Any help would be greatly appreciated! -
Hi, I'm trying to get the wash plate off my Kenmore Elite model 79629002000 wash machine to replace the clutch assembly. I can't get the wash plate to come off. We've tried a pry bar hooked under the edge, pulling straight up, we put the bolt partially in and used a pry bar against the bolt top prying up under the edge also tried running it through a few cycles with the bolt only in a few threads hoping the spin cycle would loosen it. No luck - does anyone have any other tricks?

WDF520PADM0 Whirlpool Dishwasher Won't Fill or Advance
Ramzi posted a topic in DIY Appliance Repair Help
WDF520PADM0 Whirlpool dishwasher will start to fill with water and then stop. I cannot figure this out and it is driving me crazy. History on it is: the usual start light wouldn't come on and it was stuck in drain mode (I think). I put it in diagnostics mode, it ran through everything but never gave an error code. I replaced the control board and it started up like it used to, light was back on. Now on start up it starts to fill with water then stops filling, the heating element seems to come on and then it just seems to stay in that mode without completely filling with water, the arms don't seem to get enough water to rotate or even rinse down the soap that I put in earlier. I thought it was the inlet valve or water supply, both are fine. What's happening is that the water valve is getting 115V and filling and then it drops to 24V and cuts off the water. Any suggestions?
