Whirlpool Gold - Induction cooktop -GCI3061XB DIED

My induction cooktop died.  No power.  No beeps.  No nothing.  I've checked and on/offed the circuit breaker in the box outside and nothing.  The unit under the cooktop usually makes some noise even when it's off and there's total silence up under there.

My son made grilled cheese last night and left the cooktop on, which I discovered within 10 minutes or so and turned it off.  The panel showed me "H" for two burners, which is totally normal.  It didn't shut itself down for overheating.  

This morning - dead.  Any suggestions?

There should be 2 numbers after the XB. 00? 01?

There is service bulletin out about this model I just need that revision number. The service bulletin is about no burners working and involves a fuse. 

How old is this unit?

Thank you for asking the question.  I didn't realize that there was more, and I know it's big NO NO to not have the full model #.  I had to lay on the floor and get up under it!

The answer is: 00.  I bought the house in 09/2014 and inherited the unit but my understanding is it was remodeled for sale so the unit is only a couple of years old maybe.

We took the cooktop apart and found the fuses inside.  Two stick fuse - things.  They're fine.  The meter says 000 which is good, I gather.

So the fuses are good, but the cooktop is still dead. :-/

Have you verified that you have good power to the cooktop?

Check wiring once.

We checked, and it has power.  In fact, I did that by myself and I didn't kill myself!
