  5. Oh great wise ones, I'm looking for some help on my electrolux induction range (7 year old model EW30IS65JSA ). A few days ago the burners stopped working with error code E35/E75 AC input voltage too low (first one, then the other), so I followed the service manual instructions and replaced the filter circuit board(p/n 318347000), which had an obvious failure on the board. Unfortunately (and $600 later) that board went pop when I installed it and tried it out. I now realize that the original issue with the filter board was that hard-wired fuse on the board had blown, so probably should have expected that was what would happen. So now I figure I need to replace at least the generator circuit board (318347102), possibly more. New ones seem to be expensive and/or not in stock, but I can get a used generator board on ebay for $175, or even a whole assembly of the induction boards with two generator boards and filter board new in box for $500. Currently, it shows E31 (Internal generator error, sync Induction Housing Assembly / Left side cooking zones. ), although it was the right side unit that I powered up when the filter board went pop. Any advice welcome. The main thing I am wondering is whether I should replace any burner units, or whether the problem is likely to be contained just to the generator boards, and whether I should replace both generator boards, or try and get away with just one? Best, James

  10. Model CiT 36 XKB / 01 has been giving System Failure error code Ci9 ADB L. There is no guidance in the user manual or from any web search that I can find. The suggested power off seems to work every now and again and not for long. Guessing I need a new circuit board, but looking for the service manual and/or confirmation on which board needs replacing. I am pretty handy and have replaced fridge/furnace/receiver boards in the past. Thanks!

  21. I recently got this GE Induction Range PHS925ST1SS used and am trying to fix it as we can't really afford to buy a new high end range. The range was given to me not working. Originally the range had an FA83 error code (from what I recall). The error prevented anything from working other than the clock. Searches lead me to replace the relay control board and the main logic board. The relay board didn't change anything. When I replace the main logic board I received different error code and problems. The new logic board presents with a flashing "insert" light, error codes F620 and F31, and the control panel buttons don't work right (like they have been remapped). After further research I found that the same board is used in the PHS925 and PS978. When I looked up the PS978, I found that the buttons are mapped to the PS978. On the control assembly board there is a J201 which is the model selector. I believe this is what selects between the PHS925 and PS978. This is done via a resistor. According to the technical service manual, this should be a 2.37K ohm resistor, which it is (the manual states that the PS978 should be a 1.91k resistor). I am stumped. I have tested the resistor and it is providing the correct amount of resistance. I have checked continuity between the board and the resistor and it is fine. I have exchanged the board with another and end up with the exact same results. Does anyone have any ideas on where to go from here?
