Subject: Ice Build-Up in Fan Well

Models Affected: BMNF-18 Refrigerators

Serial Numbers starting with RA to VG

When you find ice accumulated close to the evaporator motor, the cause may be defrost water that penetrates the Styrofoam center divider and then freezes and potentially blocks the fan motor blades. If the drain tube is not obstructed, replace the Styrofoam center divider with Evaporator Housing Kit Part number: WR17X12453
