Also, wondering if there is a proper/more accurate way to search files for model numbers with prefixes such as the above.

Posted (edited)

yep. Search on your model at SEARS parts, then get the tech sheet part number...  here is the process described in a thread from last week: Insert your model and follow along!

Andy,

  1. Go to Sears Parts Direct
  2. choose "search by model number."
  3. enter 106.77292790 into the search field.
  4. click on "cabinet parts."
  5. top right of the picture/parts diagram is a little booklet image marked "literature."
  6. Technical sheet       Parts #: LIT2195481
  7. The part # for the tech sheet is 2195481 ( drop the LIT pre-fix)
  8. take 2195481 and enter it in the Appliantology search bar, then hover on the left side of the search bar and choose to search in "files."

Samurai ascribes to the "...teach a man to fish" philosophy- I am in total agreement.

Thanks guys.

Yea Hiroshi, I've actually used that method before, and i totally forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder. Didn't know if there was a way to do it directly thru appliantology.

Thanks again

Josh
