WTW4800 BQ washer, sounds like its chewing gravel

Hello,

 My washer has started this insane grinding sound as it begins to pump water out I think. I took the water pump off and couldn't find anything amiss, but what do I know. I do know it really is a horrendous grinding sound. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I could probably get a recording of the sound and post it at lunch it that would be helpful.
