Should my washer be making this noise?

This is a Frigidaire Gallery front load washer. It washed one load, then when the next was washed it was possibly a) heavily loaded & maybe unbalanced, but that happens a lot, and b) a sweater got stuck under a paddle so part of the load wouldn't tumble. It then spun and rattled about noisily, and TBH the tub looks like it might be a little dented, if it even matters (I placed tape at that point in the rotation), maybe where it contacted the outer drum.

I did check the springs and shock absorbers and they move pretty easily, but evenly.

But my question is, should it make this noise when turned by hand? I've never heard a washer make this sound, and wonder if it is associated to the rattling drum, like a bearing is shot or an axle is wobbly. I appreciate your guidance and assitance.

BTW the drum doesn't wobble when wiggled up and down.

I would closely at the holes in the tub for something like a bra wire sticking through. Flash a light and see if it reflects off the offending object.

OK what do you make of this. Is there too much motion? Why is the inner drum hitting the outer drum?

It's time to go shopping for a new washer.   The spin basket support spider, (tri-arm
that attaches the basket to the shaft has cracked/broken one of the arms).  Only comes
as a complete basket/spider arm/shaft assembly - I'm pretty sure the part isn't even
available for these anymore and if it was they were over $200 + oversized shipping
charge when they were last available.

I've seen them get so bad that with a load of clothes it shakes and bangs so violently that it
smashes a big 2"-3" section of the upper left side of the rear tub shell out.

I thought the same. It was working normally then suddenly began spinning like that. I looked closely at the spider but didnt see any cracks, but it would have at least 2 bearings and maybe one is just gone, or the spider is unstable like you say. Well 15 or so years from a little washer is not bad.
