Hi, folks, my drain sink drains rather slowly, but my washer drains rather quickly. It does stop after a certain point to allow the sink to catch up, but only after a few gallons have found their way to the floor (not all the time, just under very interesting conditions, like washing a comforter). Anyway, before I go crazy trying to make a hack using a float switch, is there a built-in way to reprogram the unit to drain less water before pausing?

Arigato!

You need to correct drain problem. This isn’t a washer issue. Sorry.

well, dang.

I'll take a look at the service manual and see if there's anything fun that I can rig up with a float switch. I was hoping to avoid that... though it does actually sound a little fun!

Thanks

It cracks me up the time effort people put in work arounds a instead of actually correcting real problem.

Goid luck!

The washer is not stopping its drain function specifically to allow the sink to catch up with the drain flow.  There are no sensors in the washer that would allow it do that.  If drain is stopping momentarily, it's because that's a normal part of the machine's operation.
