Early Spring Hillstomp up Smarts Mountain

Yep, that old saw, Smarts Mountain, the same mountain with the odd pygmy people. No sign of them on this hike. Winters can be harsh up here so maybe they finally had to leave. But there were other signs of life and some decent views. Lake Solitude Lookout

So, it's been seven days since I had surgery on my schnoz to straighten out the septum and zap polyps in my sinuses. Trying to do a mellow hike today. It's a hot, dry 87F day today. Yeah, I know, I'm just a semi-lucid, mostly-fermented Samurai so, heck, I don't blame you-- half the time, I don't believe me, either! But perhaps you'll believe Chief Master Appliantologist DurhamAppliance: Here's the part link to the heater kit ==> http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Heating-Element/WR49X10173/1381601 Here

Tip for removing the top panel and tub from the NEW versions of the Whirlpool Cabrio washers

Just when we were getting used to the old Whirlpool Cabrio (and Maytag Bravo and Kenmore Oasis) washers-- not liking them, mind you-- but getting used to working on this cheesy bucket of bolts, Whirlpool goes and changes the design. Two things in particular that have changed that affect how the washer is disassembled is the top panel and tub removal. Academy Fellow nickfixit explains in his own colorful way: Source: Cannot release top spring clips on Whirlpool WTW5600XW0 Cabrio

The DADoESTX Method for checking the agitator dogs in a Whirlpool direct-drive washer

Chief DADoESTX instructs us on how to check the agitator dogs (or "dawgs" as we say at UGA) to make sure they're grabbing when they're supposed to...
