I guess the manufacturers are going to have to update the touch pad selections for sensor cooking.  Popcorn.  Potato.  Meth.

I am always a little amazed when I have a brand-new high end ASKO or Bosch in the trailer park. Often on exposed subflooring with crap venting/draining.

That said, my trailer park customers are usually much more appreciative of what I do than the millionaires in their mini mansions, so the actual customer service end is usually more pleasant.

On a serious note, meth houses smell very strongly of cats. If the house reeks of catbox and there are no cats, be very careful. Meth can coat the inside of a microwave to the extent that it can dose you or anyone handling it.  Those of us subject to random testing may want to decline to service or handle with long gloves.

The OTR microwave in the photo was actually in a historic home setting in town, multi-million Federal Reserve Note house.  The caption was just a joke.

I actually don't do service calls in trailer or mobile homes.  The materials are cheap and easily damaged in the normal course of accessing the appliance.  Tight spaces require surcharging the jobs which often puts the repair fee out of their budgets anyway.

I'll work in the multi-million dollar lake-front mansions all day long.  I charge Blue Book plus additional for extra precautions, liability, and usually a second man.  These customers don't care as much about the fee as they do just getting there quickly when they call and getting it fixed right the first time without damaging their house.
