7. My top loading washer's hot water dribbles in above the back part of the tub, but oddly, there seems to be plenty of hot water for a nice warm flow during the original filling (that comes out just above the front of the tub.) I checked the hoses and screens just in case, but they look fine... (as I expected since the hot seems fine in the front of the tub). Thanks!
8. Experienced an odd problem with our 2 year old GE washer when after the tank emptied properly, after the Wash Cycle, the drum began to Spin continuously while the Rinse Cycle was filling the tub. Normally, after emptying the wash water the drum slowly spins to a stop while the rinse water fills the tub and then starts the Rinse Cycle. The spinning was not the highest speed but it finally began throwing water out of the tub area and onto the floor, which I quickly noticed and pushed the washer control button to stop the rinse fill operation. I then rotated the control knob to several different wash cycle setting positions (this one has 3 wash settings for Cottons, Colors and Light Casual) - and on pulling the knob to start, it would immediately start to Spin - no matter if it was on Start Wash Cycle, Rinse Fill Cycle or Spin Cycle. I was finally able to get the Cotton - Rinse Spin to drain the tank and was going to do some more testing this morning; but I wanted to post to the forum before starting in case anyone had experience with type of issue. One thing I should mention... The day before, we washed 4 bathroom rugs - small ones for stepping out of the tub and for the front of the vanity/commode. The only thing I'm wondering is if the rubber backing on these specific rugs was coming off in pieces in wash. I don't know if GE Washers uses any kind of Fill Control tube that might've gotten obstructed with pieces of the rubber backing but I know that caused some issues with our older Maytag Washer some years ago. Reason I mention is that the Washer had been working normally prior to that last load of bathroom rugs... Thanks for your consideration and suggestions. greynold99

17. My 2.5 year old GE washer won't fill the tub. It runs for a second several times, like it always has, but then instead of filling the tub with water, it goes straight into the wash mode. It might put a little water in there, but not enough to cover the clothes. Both hot and cold valves are turned on. It doesn't matter which laundry size I select and hitting the "Deep Fill" button does nothing, except turn the light on. I'm thinking water level sensor. What kind of fix is that? Thanks!

24. I need to order a tub seal kit for my Maytag Legacy Series washer but I can't find a model number on it anywhere. I've checked under the lid, on the back and behind the control panel which are the usual spots. I've also looked on each side, the front, in the tub, everywhere! It looks like there used to be a sticker on the back of control panel because there's some adhesive residue there. Anyway, I need to find a model number so I can order the right parts. My estimate is that the washer is about 10 years old. Here are some pics. http://s6.photobucket.com/user/2bucks/media/IMG_0805_zpsl4pw4zns.jpg.html
