I have a RB526H2ww stove. The oven (bake) element stopped working. While removing it, I noticed only one of the push-on wire terminals was not connected to anything. I opened the back of the stove and found out the end of the red wire that supplies power to the bake element had burned out. The metal part where the end of the bake element should insert was damaged. That wire goes from the bake element to the broil element to the bake/broil knob and from there an other attached wire goes to the oven light on the control panel. My issue is that I cannot seem to find a replacement for this wire on any of the parts websites; it is not even mentioned on the replacement parts list. Can anyone help? Thank u so much!

Weird (to me) dryer cord wiring - WED4950HW0 if it matters

Can someone explain this to me? Weird cord wiring The cord white is not attached to anything. The machine white is on the center terminal and there is a jumper from the center terminal to the ground screw with the cord green. This looked odd to me, so I 'fixed' it. Removed the jumper. Both neutrals on center. Green on ground. Like all of the other dryers with 4 prong cords I've ever done. It didn't turn on. WHY? Changed it back to the original wiring with the detached cord white and jumper. WHY? What am I missing? -

Kenmore stacked - replacement lid switch has more wires

Our Kenmore stacked laundry center (417.98702891) was stopping intermittently and we discovered that the lid switch was faulty--visibly damaged, plastic melted. The replacement part (131675600) has place for four wires, and installation videos show four wires, but the machine only seems to have the two white wires, which is all that the old part required. What are the two brown/red wires? We currently have the whole thing bypassed, but the unit is in a rental, and so this isn't a good long-term solution. The part number hasn't changed, and I can't find any reference to a change in design, or anyone else who is stumped by the wrong number of connections. Any help would be appreciated! Kim -
I have a Frigidaire wall oven and had to replace the relay in the back, which was covered by my homebuyer's warranty. A friend came over and pulled it out of the wall because the repairmen couldn't Unfortunately he removed the wires behind the control panel and didn't copy down which colors go where. The colors don't match the wiring schematics diagram Frigidaire sent me so I don't know how to rewire it without risking permanent damage when I turn on the oven. The repairman wasn't sure and his job was only to replace the relay, so I am stuck. I am looking for somebody who might have a similar model and could send me a photo. I've looked all over the internet and can't find anything. I can send you my email address if you have a photo. Thanks!
