All, I just purchased a Model: NEDEW46551 Serial: M63410781 Type: DWJR-ELE-2406026-FM54 Amana Dryer. When I purchased it from Home Depot, I took off the dryer door (w/ hinges, handle, etc.) to get it through a doorway. However, while driving it home in my pick-up, the entire door flew off on the highway never to be seen. I'm looking for the entire door replacement part (not just the handle, door, etc.). I tried to go through searsdirect and it cost $250 for all the parts (more than the whole dryer!!!). Does anyone have a solution for me, please help. Thanks so much!!!

LG front loader washer WD-1018C, door seal rubbing

Hello can someone advise how to install the door seal properly? The washing machine was leaking water under the door seal. I have replaced it and tested the machine on a wash cycle. It no longer leaks but the seal is rubbing against the drum when it spins. It squeals while spinning, and started smoking and melting the rubber. I re-installed the leaking seal to check how it fit against the drum. There was a gap of 2mm so it did not touch the drum anywhere. The new seal is definitely wider on the section that touches the drum. Does this need to be trimmed before installation? Looking forward to an easy fix! Thanks -

electrolux range ew30d575ks2 door locking randomly

Door lock is randomly locking and unlocking. when first called to house it was stuck locked. I took out door lock and replaced it. week or so had passed and customer called again complaining of same issue. I replaced EOC. got a call next day it is still doing it. Any ideas? -
Amana range model AGS730L. The oven light went out. I must have never replaced it since buying the house 15 years ago. The light cover (aka lens) is stuck. First thing is to get a better grip on it, so I need to remove the oven door. That's where *I'm* stuck. I downloaded the manual from Amana, no problem. It says "open the door to the first stop, grasp the door firmly on each side and lift it upward off the hinges". I've tried that over and over and it doesn't budge. I'm reluctant to pull any harder, as it doesn't feel just stuck, but feels like the instructions are wrong -- metallic sound when I pull up on it. But OTOH the door has probably never been taken off before. Any advice? Edward
